Posted on: September 7, 2008 Posted at: 1:12:00 AM HAPPY 21st DEAREST. I love eu.
geeeee~. In this kinda weather, i doubt i can get well sooooon. Its been a week already. Im sick of being sick. & therefore, i kinda "ditch" Fitzy & Imran. Sorry guys. I really need the rest. I didnt thought that my body would be that weak. Gosh. I hate hate hate fever. I wanna be well & healthy please. & so, i rested at home today. When i felt better after zohor, i asked brother if he would accompany me to Geylang but he refuses BUT wooots, maybe ibu read my mind or something, she asked us to get ready for Geylang after asar. & so the whole family went there & we iftar-ed at Darul Arkam, performed not only maghrib but isyak & terawih too. I was amazed by those people that were there. There were mostly non-malays that had converted to Islam & yes,, I was non other than delighted to hear their stories. They were inspiring, yes they were, both the person & their stories. & hey, i wanna go breakfast there again with them next week, insyallah. I was especially amazed by two ladies Mdm Iman & Mdm Aisyah. Mdm Iman, a chinese lady, converted to Islam at the age of 17 during the 70's & yes, she converted at Darul Arkam & was amember ever since. For me, its beautiful for a teenager to find Islam wonderful & she converted by her own will & yes, she was the only one in her family that convert to this religion. It was brave for her to do so huh. & Mdm Aisyah, she's not local. She's from Australia & this is her third time travelling to Singapore & she said she love it here. & Darul Arkam was also the place she got converted to Islam. I was wowed at her story. She's about 6o years old & she's one admirable woman I've ever seen. I hope to meet her again prolly this coming saturday OR next year. & yes, i would like to go for iftar again at Darul Arkam this coming Saturday after all these interesting things that happened. Its really interesting to get to know these kinda stuffs. Yes yes yes it is. & oh, did i mention that the guy who azan to signal that it was time to break fast look like my france pal Raphael. He's David, according to faiz. He really remind me of Raphael. I wonder how he's doing. heees. Anyway,,,so eu people imagine what kinda people are there at the iftar just now. Most of them arent local & its very impressive to see them being Islam converts. Congratulations to every single one of them. & then after all, we went around the bazaar. Gosh, werent there ALOT of humans. Plus it was wet so it was crampy at the shaded parts. We didnt exactly covered every coner of the whole Bazaar. There was more to be "discovered". haaaahs. This' another reason why iw ant to go back there this Saturday PLUS I WANT THAT DRESS PLEASE IBU. heeeees. |
